Gofio Escaldón, simple and blunt

Although the gofio escaldón is a typical dish of all the Canary Islands (especially Tenerife) we have decided to include it as a dish to try in La Gomera for its authenticity and for being one of the places where we have tasted the best taste.

Originally the gofio escaldón is nothing more than a fish or meat broth on which the gofio is poured. Add an extra in the form of green mojo, onion or even some kind of meat allows you to serve not only as an entree but almost as a main course. It is ideal for cold days and is usually a dish to share as an entree.
